I am going to have to settle on a one out of ten stars for "Ransum Games". From what I witnessed in the gut wrenching 20 minutes I suffered through, the movie's cover/poster was actually the best part about the ordeal. Perhaps I am not the target audience of the movie written by writers William Pierce and Devin Wesley, but wow, this movie was atrociously bad. I can't really tell, because I couldn't connect with a single character in the movie, nor did the writing spark any interest in any of the characters or their horrible dialogue. The cast in the movie was adequate, I suppose. At that time nothing interesting had happened in the storyline, and hearing the N-word uttered in every single sentence just grew very stale and irritating very fast. In fact, I only made it 20 minutes into the ordeal, then I just gave up.
Yeah, I should have listened to the voice at the back of my head telling me to skip on it. But still, with it being a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to give the movie a chance. Granted, as I sat down to watch the 2021 crime thriller "Ransum Games" I wasn't sporting much of any high hopes or expectations to it.
